With the help of many AMCers, Kristen Donlevie created these tools through her occupational therapy doctoral dissertation project.

 

They serve to ease the process of seeking medical care for adults with AMC. One handout is aimed at AMCers with tips and tricks to having successful interactions with medical professionals, while the other is aimed at medical professionals who may work with AMCers.

 

Please feel free to use these tools for your benefit. When you are beginning a relationship with a new medical provider, you may consider sending the medical practitioner tool to them before your first visit.
