This video tells the heartwarming story of a young boy overcoming a severe disability and growing to become a man at peace with God and enjoying life to the full.
This video takes a look at what a parent can expect when their child is born with arthrogryposis. It is a documentary formatted video that interviews parents, physicians and allied health care providers to provide helpful insight in to the treatment and management of the disease. It also addresses some of the psychological issues that family members face when a child is born with special needs.
Parents and caregivers of children with arthrogryposis were asked, “What would you tell families new to the journey – To give hope for AMC?” Produced by parents of AMCers for anyone who has been touched by arthrogryposis multiplex congenita.
My son was born with arthrogryposis in 2006. Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita is a rare physical condition affecting 1 in 3,000 births. This documentary will show how people of all ages are living and thriving with the condition, overcoming obstacles and living extraordinary lives. I wanted to share our story and all the stories of our AMC families. This is a story about hope and inspiration.
