AMCSI proudly offers educational scholarships for individuals pursuing higher education. The Georgia McLaughlin College Scholarship is awarded every year to students and is based on academic achievement, future goals, and need. Eligible applicants must submit an essay, reference letters, and verification of diagnosis (Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita). Georgia McLaughlin was a dear friend and supporter of AMCSI since the very beginning stages of our organization. She was a champion of higher education and loved the AMC Community. We hope to continue to honor her legacy by awarding college scholarships to AMC’ers who wish to pursue an accredited technical, 4 year, or graduate degree.

College scholarship funds will be dispersed evenly for two semesters; $500 per semester. Application deadline each year is July 30.

• The student applicant must maintain a minimum GPA of a B average (correct responses on 80% of coursework) while enrolled in college/university to qualify for funds. Proof of GPA will be required.
• All funds are awarded to current AMCSI members with the diagnosis of arthrogryposis multiplex congenita.
• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States or Canada.
• Acceptance notification for the AMCSI College Grant fund will be sent to the applicant by August 30. We can ONLY mail the grant funds to a school address inside the United States or Canada.
• Application deadline each year for second semester is December 20. Acceptance notification for the AMCSI College Grant fund will be sent to the applicant by January 6. We can ONLY mail the grant funds to a school address inside the United States or Canada.
